What is Community Flicks? 

• It's a community of people whose hearts are heavy with concern regarding the influence of today's media and culture on younger generations, namely Generation Z and Alpha. It's young believers from Gen Z who want to do what they can to protect and enlighten their generation.
   

• It's a Christ-centered media production house and initiative launched by the nonprofit Art for Growth.
  Art for Growth has enhanced the lives of younger generations via the performing arts for over 25 years.
   

• The community's goal is to share visual content from the community and produce feature films designed to entertain and edify those who prefer quality family and faith-based entertainment. However, the primary objective is to support young followers in Christ and offset the adverse effects of today's media and culture on young lives.
   

• It's a community that's helping pave the way for new family and faith-based screenwriters and filmmakers eager to learn, develop, and share their visions for GOD's purpose.

What's one of the most significant cultural influences today? 

The answer is - the media. It tells us how to dress, what to eat, where to go, in essence, how to live. Its power over younger generations is alarming.

Life is challenging enough for adolescents and young adults. The added pressures and influences they face today make life, for many, hard to cope with or unbearable. It can contribute to lashing or acting out in ways that are destructive to themselves and others. The initiative is committed to using visual and audible mediums that can help.
