INNOVATIVE, ENTERTAINING, STORIES WITH A MISSION

About Our Founder

In 1998 MoriEl Randolph founded the 501 c3 nonprofit Songs with Meaning, Inc. (SwM).  She has served as its Executive Director and head writer for over twenty years. She's taught hundreds of young students, ages 5 to 18, valuable life and decision-making skills through Art for Growth programs, literature, and the performing arts throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.

Since founding Art for Growth, MoriEl has developed into an award-winning screenwriter, Author, and Director of over 30 productions on and off screen, including Impressions and the one-woman crew short film DUST.

Mrs. Randolph holds a B.S. in Cinematography, graduating as Valedictorian from Full Sail University, and a Master's Degree in Creative Writing.

With all that said, she is first and foremost a disciple of Christ and considers her work for SwM, films, and theatrical projects a ministry.  The mission of her ministry is to enlighten and enrich lives through the performing arts and visual storytelling, especially those of younger generations. In 2021, through the guidance of GOD, MoriEl led SwM into a national initiative, under the name Community Flicks.
