Meet Our Executive Director

MoriEl founded Art for Growth in July, 2000.
 

For over two decades, throughout the Washington Metropolitan area (DMV) and via the internet, MoriEl has taught thousands of students, ages 5 to 18, valuable life and decision-making skills through Art for Growth programs, literature, stage plays, and short films. 

 

She has developed into an award-winning screenwriter, Author, and Director of over 30 productions on and off-screen. Her most recent role has been lead producer on the feature film project Stroke of Genius.

 

MoriEl holds a B.S. in Cinematography, graduating as Valedictorian from Full Sail University, and a Master's Degree in Creative Writing.
