INNOVATIVE, ENTERTAINING, STORIES WITH A MISSION

About Our Founder

In 1998, MoriEl Randolph founded the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Songs with Meaning, Inc. (doing business as Art for Growth).  She has served as the organization's Executive Director, head writer, and producer for over twenty years. Throughout the Washington Metropolitan area, she has taught thousands of young students, ages 5 to 18, valuable life and decision-making skills through Art for Growth programs, literature, short films, and the performing arts.

Since founding Art for Growth, MoriEl has developed into an award-winning screenwriter, Author, and Director of over 30 productions on and off screen, including student projects Impressions and the one-woman crew student short film DUST.

Mrs. Randolph holds a B.S. in Cinematography, graduating as Valedictorian from Full Sail University, and a Master's Degree in Creative Writing.

However, today and throughout her career with Art for Growth, MoriEl is first and foremost a disciple of Christ and considers her work for SwM and its productions a ministry.
