Stroke of Genius is an award-winning screenplay. It was written to give viewers a greater appreciation and new perspective on important issues such as child abuse and intellectual disabilities. Most importantly, it was written to help viewers appreciate the power, mercy, and heart of GOD and present a memorable, entertaining work of art.
The story is a family drama with an inspiring and tasteful faith-based element.
Art for Growth is now the production company for this remarkable cinematic project, which will serve as the launch and prototype for Community Flicks' training and fiscal sponsorship program. Ten (10) donations of $150,000 from philanthropists who believe in our mission and goals would green light this extraordinary project, allowing it to move forward and position it to garner continued support throughout all phases of production. Executive Producer opening credits will go to donors contributing at the above level and higher. However, any contribution, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated and come with other tokens of appreciation.

A good leader is not the master of all tasks. Good leaders are aware of their strengths and weaknesses, as well as how to delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently. For a feature film project that requires union affiliation with the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), expert financial management and accounting must be included in the budget. The budget for Stroke of Genius also includes an on-site Line Producer. Every cent of a film production budget must be accounted for, if for no other reason than to pass the auditing process required by the IRS and State tax incentives programs or grants.
When it comes to film production, the screenwriting and certain aspects of the directing process remain the same, regardless of the production's size. Art for Growth's history more than demonstrates that our organization is qualified and ready to take the next step in producing a feature film project. However, when it comes to the size of the team, crew, and budget, there is a significant difference between making a short community film and a professional feature film project. So, how does a small nonprofit that for decades has practised keeping its budget and operating costs as low as possible, go from managing a few thousand to millions?
Art for Growth has earned a platinum seal from Candid (formerly Guidestar) and is listed with DAF Connect. The organization accepts online donations via PayPal, as well as credit and debit cards.
We pray and hope for donations from philanthropists who are willing to serve as champions for the family drama, faith-based project, and its potential impact.
Stroke of Genius is positioned to accomplish the following:
- The release of an impactful and memorable film with the potential to touch hearts in positive and inspiring ways, and add to the short list of quality, edifying entertainment.
- Will launch and potentially provide ongoing funding for UFCFA, a program designed to provide fiscal sponsorship, training, and development for new and emerging family and faith-based screenwriters and filmmakers. The focus of UFCFA's mission is to enable those dedicated to creating family and faith-based content to develop not only as creatives with extensive knowledge of their craft but also as film producers with strong business acumen.
- Contribute 10% of the project's proceeds to 100 of Art for Growth's Community Flicks Partners who address the issues presented in the film, namely child abuse and living with intellectual disabilities. The partners will also serve as ambassadors for the film.
